You’ve probably heard all about leap years, but what exactly is it? And why does it matter? You see, almost every four years we have a leap year. This is when a year becomes 366 days, rather than the traditional 365 days, which comes from the Gregorian Calendar. Since we follow the Gregorian Calendar, we have 12 months in a year. In an old Irish legend, it was said that a Saint struck a deal with St. Patrick to allow women to propose to men, but only on February 29th.
